SHIPPING COSTS UNITED KINGDOM
The cost of shipping within the United Kingdom is calculated on the check out page. All furnishings are “curb side” delivery only. Should a white glove service be required, please be so kind as to email Origins Decor on orders@originsdecor.im for special requests and arrangements will be made. Smaller items like accessories will be sent via sign for Royal Mail.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY TO THE ISLE OF MAN
Shipping costs to the Isle of Man are calculated on the check out page. Delivery to a purchaser’s address on the island is a cost borne by Origins Decor. All larger furnishings are delivered to the recipients address and smaller items are sent via sign for Royal Mail.
When items are delivered on island, they will be unwrapped, checked and photographed as a record of delivery and a record that the merchandise is in perfect condition. If after unwrapping the product, it is found that that the product is defective in any way, then it will be replaced at no cost to the purchaser. We recommend that the purchaser retains all packaging in case of a return. Please refer to our returns policy below. If the purchaser wishes not to keep the packaging, then we offer the service of disposing of the packaging at no extra charge.
Once the furniture has arrived on the island, there will be a five-working-day window to receive the goods. Items not delivered within the five day window due to unavailability of the purchaser, will incur a storage fee. The delivery date will be arranged in advance. Access is the responsibility of the purchaser and it is vital for the purchaser to ensure (especially in the case of larger items), that the furniture they have purchased can fit through access doors and that there is someone there to receive and sign for the goods. There will be a surcharge of £30 for larger items that do not fit into a lift and have to be carried up flights of stairs. If our delivery team arrive for the pre-arranged delivery and there is no one there to receive the goods, then there will be a charge for a second delivery.
RETURNS
We want our customers to have peace of mind regarding our returns policy.
If for any reason the purchaser is not satisfied with their purchase, goods can be returned within 5 days of receipt and we will offer an exchange or a refund excluding a collection fee and the original cost of shipping.
Please note:
All returns will incur the original shipping charge plus a collection fee from the client. Returns are only accepted on the condition that the products have not been used in any way whatsoever, that they are returned complete and in perfect condition, and very importantly, they are returned with the original inner and outer packaging. Please note that there are no exceptions.
Should the client waiver the unpacking and checking process when the item is delivered, then any defects recorded after the fact will not be valid and the items will not qualify for a return or refund.
